Bulk Analyser
How to use the Bulk Analyser effectively to process large datasets of CVEs and prioritise vulnerabilities

This guide will walk you through how to effectively use the Bulk Analyser to process large datasets of CVEs, with a maximum 1000 CVEs. The Bulk Analyser makes it easier to prioritise vulnerabilities, by understanding risk ratings and intelligence tags associated with your dataset of CVEs.

Ways of adding CVEs to be analysed

  1. Enter CVE IDs
Type or paste content into the 'enter CVE IDs field'. Note: Text can be in any format and contain non-CVE IDs. We will automatically pick out the CVE IDs from your text and ignore the rest.
  2. Upload a file
Upload any .csv, .xls, .xlsx, or .txt file that contains a list of CVE IDs (anywhere in the file) that you want analysed.
  3. Combine both CVE field and File upload
Supplement your file upload with additionally typed CVEs to expand your analysis.

*Note: You can analyse up to 1000 CVEs at a time.

Bulk Analyser results

  • Total number
Total number of unique CVEs analysed. Please note that the Bulk Analyser will include the first 1000 CVEs from your list or file of CVEs.
  • Risk Rating Level
Breakdown of CVEs against each of the Cytidel Risk Rating levels. This can help with quickly prioritising vulnerability scans and adopting an intel-led approach.
  • Intel Tags
Shows a count of CVEs from your dataset that have key intel tags.
  • Results
Your unique CVEs, mapped against the latest intelligence. View the intel-tags and Cytidel Risk Rating for each CVE, assisting with vulnerability triage and remediation prioritisation. By clicking on the Download button you can export this data to a .csv file.
